MY SPORTS ID CARD: COMMUNITY GUIDELINES & CONTENT MODERATION POLICY

1. WELCOME TO THE MY SPORTS ID CARD COMMUNITY!

My Sports ID Card is a platform designed to celebrate athletes, empower their personal brands, and connect the global sports community. To ensure a positive, safe, and respectful experience for everyone, we have established these Community Guidelines. These guidelines apply to all content you create, share, and interactions you have on our Platform, including your profile, photos, videos, comments, messages, and any other public or private communications.

By using My Sports ID Card, you agree to abide by these guidelines, along with our [Terms of Service], [Acceptable Use Policy], [Privacy Policy], and [NIL Compliance Policy]. Violations of these guidelines may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination.

Our Guiding Principles:

• Respect: Treat others as you wish to be treated.
• Safety: Protect yourself and others, especially youth and vulnerable individuals.
• Authenticity: Be real and proud of your journey.
• Sportsmanship: Uphold the values of fair play, integrity, and positive competition.
• Compliance: Understand and follow all applicable rules, including NIL regulations.

2. DO’S: What We Encourage

We encourage you to use My Sports ID Card to:

• Share Your Athletic Journey: Post about your training, games, achievements, and experiences in a positive and constructive way.
• Connect & Support: Engage with other athletes, fans, coaches, and recruiters respectfully. Offer encouragement and celebrate successes.
• Build Your Personal Brand: Showcase your Name, Image, and Likeness (NIL) compliantly through merchandise, livestreams, and other approved features.
• Participate in Fundraising: Engage ethically in fundraising activities to support your goals or your team/organization.
• Be Authentic: Create a profile that genuinely represents you as an athlete and individual.
• Uphold Sportsmanship: Demonstrate positive values, integrity, and fair play in all your interactions.

3. DON’TS: What Is Strictly Prohibited

The following types of content and behaviors are strictly prohibited on My Sports ID Card:

3.1. Illegal & Harmful Activities:

• Promoting, facilitating, or engaging in any illegal acts (e.g., drug use, illegal gambling, fraud, identity theft).
• Content that encourages or glorifies violence, self-harm, or illegal activities.

3.2. Hate Speech, Harassment, & Bullying:

• Hate Speech: Any content that attacks or demeans a group or individual based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, disability, disease, age, sexual orientation, gender, gender identity, or any other protected characteristic.
• Harassment & Bullying: Repeatedly sending unwanted messages, posting offensive comments, making threats, doxing (sharing private information without consent), or any behavior intended to intimidate, shame, or degrade another person.
• Personal Attacks: Direct insults, slurs, or derogatory remarks aimed at individuals or groups.

3.3. Threats & Violence:

• Threats of violence, physical harm, or death against any individual or group.
• Content that promotes or glorifies terrorism, extremism, or organized hate groups.

3.4. Sexually Explicit & Obscene Content:

• Any sexually explicit, pornographic, or obscene content, including nudity in a non-sports, non-artistic, or exploitative context.
• Content that exploits, abuses, or endangers children. Zero tolerance for child exploitation.

3.5. Impersonation & Misrepresentation:

• Impersonating another person, team, organization, or My Sports ID Card staff.
• Creating fake profiles or providing false information about your identity, achievements, or affiliations.
• Misleading or deceptive content, including false advertising or scams.

3.6. Spam, Scams, & Phishing:

• Posting unsolicited commercial content, junk mail, chain letters, or pyramid schemes.
• Attempting to trick users into revealing personal information (phishing).
• Excessive or repetitive posting that disrupts the user experience.

3.7. Intellectual Property & Brand Misuse:

• Uploading or sharing copyrighted material (e.g., music, videos, photos, logos) without proper authorization.
• Using trademarks or brand names without permission, especially those of educational institutions, athletic conferences, or professional teams, unless explicitly licensed and compliant with our NIL Compliance Policy.
• Any content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of others.

3.8. Private Information:

• Sharing anyone’s private or confidential information without their explicit consent (e.g., phone numbers, home addresses, non-public email addresses, financial details).

3.9. Promotion of Prohibited Goods & Services:

• Promoting the sale or use of illegal drugs, prescription drugs without a prescription, weapons, or other illegal goods.
• As per our [NIL Compliance Policy], direct endorsements or promotions related to alcohol, tobacco, gambling (outside of legally permitted fundraising), or adult entertainment are prohibited.

3.10. Academic Dishonesty & Integrity of Sport:

• Content that facilitates or promotes cheating, plagiarism, or any form of academic dishonesty.
• Content that undermines the integrity of athletic competition, such as promoting match-fixing, doping, or illegal recruiting practices.

3.11. Technical Misuse:

• Introducing viruses, malware, or any harmful code to the Platform.
• Attempting to gain unauthorized access to My Sports ID Card’s systems or other users’ accounts.
• Interfering with the normal operation of the Platform or engaging in activities that degrade performance.

4. SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS FOR YOUTH ATHLETES

My Sports ID Card is used by athletes of all ages, including minors. We have specific measures in place to protect youth privacy (as outlined in our Privacy Policy), but all users play a role in creating a safe environment.

• Parental Supervision: Parents/guardians are responsible for overseeing their child’s account and interactions on the Platform, especially for users under 13.
• Appropriate Content: Be extra mindful when interacting with or creating content involving minors. Avoid any content that could be considered exploitative, inappropriate, or puts a child at risk.
• Private Information: Never ask a minor for private contact information or attempt to move conversations off the platform without verifiable parental consent.

5. REPORTING VIOLATIONS

If you encounter any content or behavior that you believe violates these Community Guidelines, please report it immediately.

• In-App Reporting: Use the “Report” feature available next to profiles, posts, or comments.
• Email: Contact our moderation team directly at support@mysportsidcard.com.

Please provide as much detail as possible (e.g., screenshots, links to content, usernames, specific dates/times) to help us investigate effectively.

6. CONTENT MODERATION & ENFORCEMENT

My Sports ID Card reserves the right, but is not obligated, to review, monitor, remove, or edit any User Content or suspend/terminate accounts that we, in our sole discretion, deem to violate these Community Guidelines or any of our other policies.

Our enforcement actions may include:

• Warnings: For minor or first-time offenses.
• Content Removal: Deleting specific posts, photos, videos, or comments that violate guidelines.
• Temporary Suspension: Temporarily restricting access to some or all Platform features.
• Permanent Account Termination: For severe or repeated violations.
• Reporting to Authorities: In cases involving illegal activities, child exploitation, or threats, we will report to law enforcement or relevant athletic associations as required or deemed necessary.

We strive to be fair and consistent in our enforcement, but our decisions are final.

7. POLICY UPDATES

The online environment and our Platform evolve, and so will these guidelines. My Sports ID Card reserves the right to update or modify these Community Guidelines at any time, with reasonable notice provided to users. Your continued use of the Platform after such modifications constitutes your acceptance of the revised guidelines.
